Truly an amazing find, the Original Fishermans Rain Cape is a stunning example of the earliest forms of Chinese raincoats.
Hand-woven from coir fibre, a natural fibre extracted from the outer husk of coconut, these capes are still used by fishermen in the Chinese provinces to provide some protection against the rain.
These capes look amazing hung on the wall, or draped over the large mirror.
